B+ (Brian Cross) is an Irish-born, LA-based photographer and filmmaker. Since the 1990s, he has chronicled underground hip hop, rap, jazz, cumbia, and reggae music scenes. A visual cartographer of sound culture, B+ captures moments of contemplation and inspiration within creative lives. This iconic image was taken on the WEA Publishing building rooftop, shortly before The Notorious B.I.G.'s death.
